Day one. September 4th, 2018. Samson’s been with us for about 15 hours which is about the same amount of time it took he and I and fellow IC Peep, Deb, to drive north from Appleton, Wisconsin where he was born, to Hamilton Ontario where we were attending a Say Yes ICPeeps Weekend.
Here he is playing with my girls for the first time. I am so proud of them. Be nice, get more cookies.
Day two. September 5th, 2018. Today he’s a darn sight faster than yesterday. He’s very agile and fearless on every surface and weird object he’s encountered. Boards that bend under him, forest, grass, dry and wet, asphalt, concrete, wooden decks, flooring of all kinds, water systems going on and off, birds, cats, the list goes on… At Say Yes, he was very reactive to people and dogs walking by the truck or his crate or when he sat on someone’s lap. I’m in no hurry to test those distractions again. There’s lots to learn here at home.
