I’m learning a different camera and lens. Canon 60D and 50 mm fixed focus lens. First 50 shots or so…it was whoa, where’d all that light come from! I was overexposing like crazy. I got a bit better. This was taken in shade in manual mode.

Ruby and I will be flying to Edmonton to attend our first Canadian National Schipperke Specialty in June. She’ll ride in the airplane cabin in this little bag, squeezed under the seat in front of mine.

Thanks also, to our fine judges, Kim Reed and Nicki Gurr.
Back in black
This Friday, Ruby and I went back into the show ring; our first since getting her championship in October 2016. We braved car breakdowns, snowstorms, and sleepless nights. She looked fabulous and performed brilliantly. Here she is, relaxing like Cleopatra on her handmade tiger bed.
